Private dinner cruise on Sydney Harbour

Iconic Sydney Harbour at night

With its iconic skyline comprising some of the 20th century's most innovative architecture, Australia's Sydney Harbour is perhaps the most recognizable urban waterfront on Earth. Two of the Harbour's most remarkable "residents" include the striking Sydney Harbour Bridge – the world's tallest steel arch bridge, opened in 1932 and dubbed "The Coathanger" by locals due to its shape – and the Sydney Opera House, one of the world's most distinctive buildings since its completion in 1973 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There's no better way to enjoy the Harbour's highlights than aboard a private evening cruise featuring a reception and dinner.

Cruise to the Great Barrier Reef

Adventures aquatic at the Great Barrier Reef

Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is longer than the Great Wall of China, and considered the largest living thing on Earth. With a biology presentation and snorkeling demonstration en route, cruise to the Outer Reef to swim, snorkel or sightsee in a glass-bottom vessel – or enjoy optional activities (at additional cost) like scuba diving, helmet diving and more.

Art Deco celebration in Napier

Step back to Art Deco days in Napier, New Zealand

The city of Napier, on the North Island's Hawke's Bay, is one of New Zealand's most unique cities, due in part to a natural disaster. Virtually destroyed by an earthquake in 1931, the city – despite the deprivations of the Great Depression – was rebuilt in just two years... leaving it with a wealth of Art-Deco architecture, much of it surviving to this day, that's unsurpassed anywhere in the world. After sightseeing and wine-tasting in the Hawke's Bay area, attend an Art Deco party with all the trimmings back in Napier.

Want More Detailed Information?

All Inclusive, One Upfront Price

Distinctively "inclusive" means just that – virtually every cruise cost is included in one upfront price, from shore excursions (private to Tauck), all gratuities, premier hotels on land stays, port charges and more. There are no options sold – no extra charges, no hidden costs, no "surprise" expenses.

Shore Excursion Choice

The choice is yours... We’re pleased to present an opportunity to customize and personalize your cruise by choosing your shore excursions on select days; choices have been carefully designed to appeal to different interests and preferences, with more active choices available on many days. 90 days prior to your departure date we'll contact you with the information you need to make your selections!

Book Your Air

International Air is additional. Contact Tauck for rates on international air for travel originating in Australia (subject to availability).

What you need to know

Before You Go

Travel Documents, Booking and Deposits, and more

No matter where your destination may be, you should bring identification with you; a valid passport is always an appropriate form of identification. Contact your booking agent for information about all necessary documents required for your journey, such as passport and visa information or documentation required for transportation security measures.

Important Information

Health and Activity

You'll find Activity and Pace Levels on all of our trips to give you a better idea of physical activity level – higher numbers mean a more active journey. To fully enjoy most journeys, you should be in good health and able to walk reasonable distances; some of the most memorable sightseeing can only be accomplished on foot and may include unpaved and uneven surfaces. Please consult your physician for pre-departure health advice.

Protect Your Travel Investment

Deposit Protection Plan

Deposit Protection Plan – Tauck provides a “Deposit Protection Plan” at a cost of AUD $75 per person per tour or cruise. The cost is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be paid at the time of booking with your deposit. It only applies when you cancel your tour or cruise prior to final payment date. The deposit held in credit will exclude fees imposed by third parties in relation to air, rail travel, hotels, transfer or applicable cruise cabins. When booking airfares through Tauck (including when taking advantage of a special offer that includes air travel), standard airline cancellation fees will apply. In some cases, airfares will be non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, these fees will be deducted from the deposit paid, and therefore the credit being held. We will only credit the remainder of deposit to a future tour or cruise booking if you book within 24 months of cancellation of the original Tauck tour or cruise. This offer expires after the 24 months. We will only credit the remainder of the deposit to a future tour or cruise booking Balance Due and it can’t be used as a credit for the initial deposit of a future tour or cruise booking. The Tauck “Deposit Protection Plan” only covers a Tauck tour or cruise and it does not replace Travel Insurance, which we recommend at the time of booking.
