A Week in the Baltics small group tour was the perfect way to see and understand these countries. The hotels were superb. The itinerary was just right. Our tour director was knowledgeable and took care of us in every way. He is one of the best of the 27 tours we have taken with Tauck. It was a great week. Carl L. Zielonka, DDS (RETIRED)
Most Memorable Moment:
The Jewish tour of Riga.
Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia, are an educational and beautiful learning opportunity. Helsinki - nice, but not so interesting. St. Petersburg was fascinating, especially The Hermitage Museum & Catherine's Palace. The high speed train from St. Petersburg to Moscow sure beat flying. Moscow, w/ Red Square & the Kremlin-WOW! The Armory Chambers are a 10.
Most Memorable Moment:
The unimaginable opulence of the Russian palaces, cathedrals, palaces and royalty residences compared to the dilapidated farm homes and concrete high rise communist dwellings.
