Dinner and a show in the West End

It's your choice of restaurant and a show in London's West End

London's fabled West End theatre district has been the city's hub of theatrical entertainment since early in the 19th century. Often referred to as "Theatreland" today, the district comprises some 40 theatres set in or near the heart of London's West End, in such streets as the Strand, Shaftesbury Avenue and Drury Lane. During your stay in London, you'll enjoy a memorable evening in the West End with both dinner and a show at a restaurant and theatre of your choice.

Meet Carolyn Robb, former Chef to the Royal Family

On select departures – Exclusive dinner presentation by Carolyn Robb, former Executive Chef to the Royal Family

Carolyn Robb – co-founder of The Royal Touch and formerly Executive Chef to TRH Prince Charles and Princess Diana, gives a special farewell dinner presentation in London on select small group departures of "England, Scotland & Wales." Ms. Robb presents anecdotes from her time as Personal Chef to the royal household of TRH Prince Charles, Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry, and introduces a welcome dinner menu featuring a favorite dish of the Royal Family. Available on select departures; ask at booking.

The Savoy

Nights 11, 12 and 13

The one... the only... The Savoy

Welcome to The Savoy... a place where history and iconic elegance mingles with new-world sophistication. A world-famous name, celebrated for sublime service, and graced by stars, dignitaries and the global jet-set… where Art Deco rubs shoulders with English Edwardian, and exceptional dining blends with contemporary cocktails. The definitive destination in the heart of London, The Savoy stands proudly on the Northbank of the River Thames. The ballet, opera and theatre of vibrant Covent Garden are just steps away, with the City, world-renowned museums and galleries, and the designer shopping of Knightsbridge and Mayfair within easy reach. The one... the only... The Savoy.

Scotch Whisky and traditional Welsh foods

Days 2 and 5

Discover the joys of Scotch Whisky and traditional Welsh foods at private dinners and tastings

Discovering the iconic food and drink of a destination is an important part of any comprehensive travel experience. On our "England, Scotland and Wales," you'll journey through the aromas and flavors that lead to the perfect Single Malt Whisky at the “Scottish Whisky Experience”... learning the history of Scotland’s most famous export, hearing the stories behind the craft, and – of course – taste the results. And in Wales, it's all about farmhouse cheeses, charcuterie with character, specialty breads, and sumptuous chocolates at the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, where you’ll spend an evening with artisan chefs and craftspeople who are passionate about traditional Welsh cuisine. Expect local and seasonal ingredients, state-of-the-art kitchens set in restored 18th-century farm buildings... and a memorable meal.

Small Group Departures

Our small group departures, averaging just 24 guests, are designed for travelers who want more time to experience each destination up close and personally. One of the benefits of small group travel is the personalized service and attention you’ll enjoy. Small groups enable our Tauck Directors to spend more time in the places you explore with more opportunities to connect with them. Smaller groups foster camaraderie and lasting friendships among like-minded travelers; you'll engage more closely with local experts and enjoy enhanced insider access, ease of travel and freedom to linger longer.

Solo Traveler Savings

Traveling solo doesn't mean traveling alone – with Tauck, it means camaraderie on a journey with like-minded travelers who share similar interests, enjoying the spirit of travel that makes exploring the world a necessary part of life – and sharing the special travel experiences found on Tauck’s guided land trips and cruises that create lifetime memories. For 90+ years, solo travelers have found a special "travel" home with Tauck in destinations the world over – and we’re offering solo travelers an additional reason to travel with Tauck – special Solo Traveler Savings on select departures.
